Night shopping looking for red dresses (10/365)

Project 365 has made me a little more obsessed with red than the past. i used to only want red gadgets, now i'm looking at red clothes too!!! of course, it helps that cny is round the corner and red is everywhere! WHEE!

friends know me as cheapo queen. haha! I'm always looking out for discounts, 1 for 1, free samples, all kinds of promotions. i subscribe to many deals sites and checking these sites is almost a daily affair =p

we, city people, are always in a rush, that sometimes we may not even notice these subtle little things around.

It's in your blood to save lives (9/365)

I always wanted to donate blood. My blood is the multi purpose O+ but i'm afraid of needles. i'm afraid of inexperienced staff drawing my blood, poke and poke. heard too much horror stories about such people. and i heard after donating blood, got hot milo and biscuits, is it true? haha! i will never know

New mall!

I've been hearing quite abit about the new mall in the east. so we headed down to check it out today!

well, it has your usuals such as soup spoon, coffee bean, cotton on etc, like most other malls in sg. i also spotted a starhub store there! (my pic of the day) but what differentiates this mall is probably their outlet stores. there's Adidas, g2000, lacoste, crocs etc. not too bad. think it's a good hangout place for those working at changi biz park but dont think I'll be heading there often. too far! haha.

red building no more? (8/365)

as you can see, this red building located along the katong road seems to be under some sort of construction. will it be tore down? or just revamping? hopefully there will be answer at the end of project 365.

with cny just 2 weeks away, everyone is starting to stock up groceries and goodies. im sure you'll be able to spot these green baskets and maybe even use them when shopping at NTUC Fairprice.

personally I enjoy grocery shopping, walking down the many aisles and seeing the latest offers and new products etc. might be cos of my job influence also. hee. anyway I'm really glad about Fairprice's move to stop selling shark's fin! yay to being socially responsible! save the earth! =)

The Famous Ba Kwa!! (7/365)

Lim Chee Guan, a brand i'm sure everyone knows. Went to Chinatown this morning and q-ed 1 hour plus for it. One hour plus only because I'm there early, before 10. I'm glad i got to buy it. My fav brand of ba kwa!

I love going to the airport, especially so if im flying off :) haha. but i also get a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I land back at changi airport after every trip. it's really the best airport and I'm so proud of it!

so today I sent a friend off and spent some time just walking around after. didn't realise there are quite a few retail shops at t3. good for the shopaholic me! =p

Festive season starts (6/365)

This umbrella is so apt for the chinese new year, what's more a dragon on it. But it's the ugliest umbrella i've seen thus far. seriously?!

no ugly women, only lazy ones.

I want to be a pretty one! went to highlight my hair today. but sadly, it isn't obvious :( again.

being pretty really requires effort and money! I need to stop being so lazy!!

Here's a thought: It's unhealthy for kids to eat macs right? Yet, we want to provide baby chair for kids to either watch the adults eat (which is torturous), or for kids to indulge in macs (sit, eat and grow fat).

Pasar Malams

I love checking out pasar malams!=p you are bound to find something random and interesting. i enjoy scouring through pasar malams for cheap finds.

pop by one today and found this drink stall selling all sorts of colourful drinks. I love colourful things but these drinks... I dont dare to drink them!

back to work!

so it's the first working day of 2012. had to drag myself out of bed and head to work. it's been a longggg break and my engines are still in hibernation.

well, at least I get to make myself comfortable with my big soft green cushion at work :) need to get out of the lazy mode soon!!

Remember how the old school public phone look like? The orange one where you put ten cents in?

Well, the red item of the day is the public phone. it totally differs from how the old one looked like but we definitely don't get to see it as often as before. Technology is a very huge part of our lives now, how many of you all still own a phonecard? haha!

it's a bright sunny day today! a perfect day for a swim!

so packed my green dry bag and out I went for a swim, sticking to my resolution of exercising at least once a wk. gd healthy start to the year! =)

Never noticed how red the drums are in Antioch Hall in church until today. The caption on the drums say it all, Sing unto the Lord. Music can indeed minster to all.

Giving Love (1/365)

I bought this pair of earrings when I was in Penang and wanted to find a special occasion to wear it. Decided to kick start the year with a little love. One of a kind. The shop said if I can find this pair of earrings elsewhere, they will refund me the money.

My resolution for the world is to fill this world with more love. Love is simple yet not an easy thing to do. Working towards a gracious and compassionate person!
