Star Awards 2009

Frankly, this is a must watch for both of us since young. Every year for many many years, we would be on the phone throughout the whole show, gossiping about what she was wearing and complaining how unfair it was for him/her to get the award then oohing and ahhing over small details, laughing and grumbling all at the same time. There were some years, we only call each other during advertisements cos it's very disturbing to talk while the show is on. And when the ads were over, immediate hang up of the phone. And the cycle goes on. The annual ceremony for mediacorp artistes ( except last year) is also one of the most look forward for us every year. I know most people our age outgrows of it after a while or find it no biggie or even some people dun even give a hoot about it since young. We are not being aunties here. A large part why we are still attached as u can tell is more of "watching" it together. We grew up together with Star Awards in a way and somehow, this will always be a part of us wherever we go. Always.
